In the US...they commonly give out a surgical bra afterwards that has a kind of "inner tube" in it which supports your breasts as they heal, and also keeps them perky.
I dunno if they offer it in ANZ, but if not you might want to look into getting one. I had a friend at work who recently had the surgery and they FORGOT to give her one. She just found out about it and hit the roof...it's been hard for her to find bras with enough support for her during the healing process and she's been in a lot of pain. I hear she's getting her surgical bra next week and she can't wait.
