David will understand that I did get home last night but I was so tired (and hungover) that I couldn't think of posting until tonight after work.

Went whale watching, the Regatta, a wedding and saw my five-day old cousin. Lots of beer! All in all, a good trip.

The ending was not fun, however. We were stuck on the tarmac last night for 90 minutes because of a thunderstorm. Man, that was tiring - I wanted a smoke, kids were screaming, it was hot. Gah!

Glad to be back and, so you know, you can survive a week without the Internet, in case anyone was curious!
