				 Sex Toy Allergies: HELP!
 Ladies, I'm sooooo frustrated!
Not long ago I had to retire my two (favorite, of course) jelly toys because it seemed that I'd developed an allergy, or at least a sensitivity, to them. I was annoyingly itchy after each use, and I do have a latex sensitivity, so I figured that had to be it. Of course, other than "made in China," there's not much info as to the "ingredients" of the average sex toy.
So I have tried the UR3, and had pretty good success with that. And yes, and I've tried the glass, and I don't care for it. My very expensive (and pretty, I might add) dildo just leaves me feeling juiced. It's too hard.

So we come to my current problem. I ordered the "Twice Da Vice," picture attached here, and was really excited about it. (When you see it, you'll know why!) However, when I opened it, the chemical-sweet smell was overwhelming. I figured that was just new sex toy smell, as is often the case, and that it'd go away. So I took it out, washed it twice, and left it to air out. It's been 3 days, and it stinks up any room I have it in. If that weren't bad enough, I through it in my solid wood nightstand last night so I wouldn't have to smell it all night, and the smell permeated through that, too!

Given my allergy issues, and the sheer weirdness of that smell, I'm going to return it, unused . But I wondered if anyone had any suggestions, had any similar experiences with sex toy sensitivity of a not-good kind? I'm at a loss.

Thanks,

	| I've had the exact same problem. The first jelly toy I got irritated the hell outa me. I recently bought some new toys *grin* and the one smelled so strong I was really worried it would be a problem and irritate me again. But..to my delight. It didn't. I say give it a try. You never know. As for the smell. Mine has disapated somewhat. So I have hope that will continue.Good luck!

	| Eliza, I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. It felt great, didn't irritate, and the smell did lessen.
Thanks to you and Lilith for your advice.
